System Messages Tab

Purpose

The System Message tab allows all of the internal i-Mail messages that may be sent to users to be customised.

General Use

To override a system message:

Select the message from the 'System Message' list.

Check the 'Enable message override' button.

Enter your new subject and/or message.

If either the subject or message is left blank, the system generated messages will take their place. You may, for instance, want to allow the default help message to be sent to a user, but with a different subject line, maybe indicating the helpdesk phone number.
