AutoCC Tab

Purpose
The purpose of the AutoCC tab is to define multiple recipients for a single mail address.
General OptionsThis list contains the list of addresses which require multiple recipients. Select an address from the list to display and modify the list of recipients.
This is the list of mail addresses which will receive mail when a message is sent to the address shown in the left address list.
PropertiesWhen this is selected, the originating address of the message is discarded and the mail is sent only to the recipients specified in the CC list.
Check this box to allow this list to be processed for local messages.
Check this box to allow this list to be processed for internet mail collected with the POP collectors.
With this option on, and the Enable for downloaded mail option set, mail that is collected from the internet with POP collectors will duplicate to recipients who are not local to your system. This allows security in the case of AutoCC lists that should not have external clients replicating mail out from your system.
Enable for local non-hosted users
This option works with the Enable for local mail, and will allow i-Mail to reject AutoCC attempts from users in domains other than those listed in the domains tab.
ManagerCCTurns ManagerCC on or off.
ManagerCC replicates mail collected from POP hosts to the manager.
ManagerCC replicates mail sent to the internet to the manager.
ManagerCC replicates all internal mail and mail sent to named hosts to the manager.
Enter the full e-mail address of the recipient for ManagerCC mail. This recipient must be hosted on a named domain, external forwarding of all mail is neither allowed or wise.
Using this option the manager can distinguish ManagerCC mail from normal mail.
Enter a subject to appear in the message subject line when using attachment mode for ManagerCC.
ConceptsLocal and inbound user lists are separated to give more flexibility to your organisation. If you wish you staff to be able to send messages in a blanket fashion, you may wish to set up a mailing list called everyone@company.com. You may not however wish for this to be publically available for internet users to bombard your system with messages. This is achieved by selecting the appropriate method of message duplication.
Uses of inbound mail duplication include forwarding mail to multiple user while someone is away. Unlike changing mailbox names this method sends the message to the intended recipient as well as the users in the cc list.
See the UserLink tab for details on how to use NetWare groups for internal mail lists.
